I have mixed feelings about whether or not teenagers should have paying jobs.  On the one hand, it is a great experience, teaches responsibility, and allows teenagers to pay for some of their own expenses and/or save money to go to college.  On the other hand, high school is a big job on its own, and is very time-consuming, especially if you take IB or AP classes.  High school also is a time to develop talents (through sports or the arts), to make friends, and to research and apply to college.  What do you think?  Take this anonymous poll to let me know if you think high school students should have jobs.
